Stephen Pamaran turns himself in on Esplanade Mall trespass charges as YouTuber Steve Ronin

The 33-year-old was booked on felony unauthorized entry and a misdemeanor for posting the exploration for publicity. Louisiana authorities are still seeking RangerRickTV.

Stephen Pamaran, who posts as Steve Ronin, surrendered to police on August 13 and was arrested on two counts linked to entering the Esplanade Mall in Kenner, Louisiana. The property has been closed since 2021; authorities said the entry occurred in 2025.

Pamaran faces felony unauthorized entry of a business and misdemeanor unlawful posting of criminal activity for notoriety or publicity, according to local reporting. In Louisiana the felony carries up to six years in prison and a $1,000 fine; the misdemeanor carries up to six months in jail and a $500 fine.

He entered with another creator identified as RangerRickTV. Police said they have not been able to locate that person.

Urban explorers often film vacant sites, but owners and security on many properties can lead to trespass arrests when entry is without permission.
